I am totally amazed how large Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas really is and what WOW Factor I experienced. While walking arund the ship I noticed lots of wheel chairs on several of the decks. Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's Oasis of the Seas has out done their selves with the design and ease of navigating around their ship for all passengers.
Many cruise lines have been updating their cruise ships and spending lots of money to redesign and update their ships. I was pleasantly pleased to talk with several passengers in wheel chairs and they were very happy with the ability to navigate around the 17 decks with ease. The elevators and ramps made traveling anywhere on the ship very simple. Lots of passengers took a few days to really feel comfortable with the location of the cafes, pools, open spaces and entertainment centers. Once they knew where they were they were able to move about the Cruise Ship with Ease.
I have traveled with people who are in wheel chairs and my friend was very open about her experiences on this ship traveling in a wheel chair. She stated that they crew and staff were very open and well versed in assisting people who need just a little extra care getting around. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and equally. I truly can state that the Oasis of the Seas lived up to my friends and my expectations of making Adaptive and Handicapped travel an effortless event.
The Cruise Industry has really stepped up to the plate and made all travelers know that traveling can be planned and excuted easily when planning a vacation aboard a ship.
Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Holland America and Princess Cruise Lines are all great cruise lines that are designed and well suited for traveling in a wheel chair or for the Adaptive Traveler that needs just a little extra help. My hats off to the Cruise Lines in making Travel EASY FOR EVERY ONE. Happy Travels.
