Some of us have vivid memories of our Family Vacations.  Some families took expensive and highly sought after vacations that broke the piggy bank.  Our family didn't have a piggy bank to break.

We spent 6 weeks a year camping, waterskiing, roadtrips and completed visiting 48 states before my father passed away.  Life was such an adventure in our family.  I just think that we should remember how precious life is and never take it for granted.

I would like to remind people that it isn't about how much money you spend on a vacation, it is more important to include the entire family in this big decision.  Your kids are only young once and I think it is very important to give them the opportunity to see how other people live in different counties, cities, states and different countries.  Your trips will become a memories that will last with your children all of their lives.

Please take some time and thought of the type of Vacation that will enrich or enhance your family/s life.  Visit the Museums, Art Galleries, State Parks, or National Monuments.  Have you ever thought of visiting some of the areas that your children have studied in the past year.  All these subject and activities can actually inhance your child's life. 

Today will become tomorrow's memory.  Please show your family that they are important in making these important decisions and plan your vacations as a family activity.

I can tell you that after visiting 48 states by the age of 14 sure has made some wonderful memories that I will NEVER FORGET.

London and the Tower Bridge

Have you been to London?  This is a city that is amazing.  We have made several vacations to the London and we always make a special trip to the Tower Bridge.

 The Location of the Bridge is so convenient and helps to cross the Thames River.  London Bridge was originally the only crossing for the Thames.  In 1876, the City of London decided that the congestion need to end and the bridge was build.

The view today from the high level Walkways has changed dramatically, although there are still signs of the area's amazing history. Photos and interactive kiosks, visitors to Tower Bridge Exhibition can gain a greater understanding of how life would have been when the idea of a new bridge was originally conceived.  Traffic was one of the greatest reasons the bridge was build.

I am not sure why some people have to Rush to see Big Ben or Oxford Street when you have the famous Tower Bridge.  The beauty draws you to see it in the evening when it it is all lite up.  This is a perfect place to take your family for a Family Vacation.  The Bridge is met by walkways on both sides of the Thames and it is so great to see families walking along the shore and taking pictures of this magnificant Bridge.  You must see it in person to actually capture the beauty of this bridge.

London is known for the Red Phone Booths and it is so fun to actually find them along the walkway that follow the Thames River. In my mind this is as much of the history as are the Double Decker Buses. If you are looking for a wonderful vacation I suggest bringing your entire family to London. With many parks and rivers there is something for everyone in the family to see and do.

I have written many articles about vacations, but infact it is all about you.  Your Vacation is something that you have worked hard for.  Average Americans take a vacation of approximately 2 weeks a year.  When you work hard, it is time to unwind and relax.  YOUR VACATION IS YOUR VACATION. Don't let people talk you into going somewhere you are not interested in.  Time is ticking and you need to start planning those summer vacations soon.  Once school is out, resorts tend to get busy and unavailable.
