THE IMPORTANCE OF NETWORKING IN TRAVEL AND LIFE

Life is a walk on the beach, a bike ride around the lake or just camping with your family.  This is what I am talking about when I say The Importance of Networking is necessary in Life in General.

I belong to many Networking Groups and the basic thought behind them for people to get to know you as a person, like you and trust you completely.  I always think it is important to network with people and not to sell to them.  I would like to stress the difference.  When attending a meeting I love meeting people and talking about their life and experiences.  I may never need their services, but I can still get to know what makes them tick as a person.  I have many friends that I might just refer to you. Pushing your or your product is not my idea of Networking - Referrals from Friends is where I like get people to help in my business.

In Travel it is very important to attend Networking and Travel Seminars and I am constantly trying to know what is new in the industry and just be available if people need an answer to a Travel Question.  With the Travel Industry changing so quickly it is important to be informed for my clients, family and friends.  I like keeping you and my family informed.  Happy Travel through Life.

Just remember that you might only have 5 people show up at your networking meetings, but with each person knowing at least 250 people this is a LOT OF PEOPLE that we can impact and share our knowledge with our Social Media and Networking Connections.

Day Trips and Family Exploration on Memorial Day Weekend

I know it is a busy weekend for many, but don't forget to spend a good portion of the weekend with your family and friends.  Day trips can be made in your own Town or City.  Check out the directories of your city and see if a parade or celebration is happening that might be a fun excursion for your family.  Kids of all ages LOVE PARADES......

We often forget the real reason why we celebrate the holiday weekend, but we really need to stop and think out the family and friends we have lost in the past and celebrate our fallen soldiers.  Visit a museum, park and celebrate with them in the back of your minds.

Check out a park or visit a National Cemetery or National Monument.  It will bring tears to your eyes and I can tell you one that aways comes to mind.  My father is buried in a National Cemetary and when you see all the flags flying - it just gets me in the heart.  I honor all of our soldiers passed and still living and serving for our country.

One of the most beautiful Celebrations that we have witnessedis when we were in Oahu and visited the National Cemetery "The Punch Bowl".  What a display of Beauty on every grave decorated with Baby Orchid Leis.  The Pinks and Purple just adorn the mountain side and that is something that I think all Americans should visit when visiting the islands of Hawaii.

Please be safe and enjoy your time off with your family.  It is a special time and why not Travel As a Family, you might just get a Family Discount somewhere..   Check out our webpage at http://www.travelatheart or if you need travel tips of fun things to do see me on facebook  http://facebook.com/travelagentjeannefelix

Cruising Vacation with Families will Build Childhood Memories for Your Children – So Many Activities that it is Hard to Take in all the Activities on Board The Ship.

On the Oasis of the Sea - there were so many activities available on the ship for Children. The crew staff mixed up all the activities for the kids that they had a hard time on their decision what to do next. They would let the kids play video games some of the time but there were so many other activities to be involved in. Some of the activities were crafting, rock climbing, wave riders, Swimming, Walking on the Board Walk and miniture golf. The kids were always out of site and they had their own area of the ship in the LIVING ROOM and private swimming any other area. The older kids were busy with teen scavenger hunts and dancing around at the different clubs. Kids had a Dance dedicated one night that was set up for them for the for kids ages 12-17 years old. Movies were set up at different times on the ship and they were for all ages. I didn’t meet one child that said they were bored. Most parents that I interviewed said that this was a great experience and they will book a Cruise Ship Vacation in the future.

The openness of the ship and the beauty was something that was admired by everyone. We would like to let families know that you can be assured that you could book this cruise and feel no pressure to figure out what you want to do next. The cruise ship is truly like a city at sea with so many activities to keep you and your entire family entertained. The children on board were around and I enjoyed seeing them have the freedom to roam around the ship and explore.  What a fun trip to help add to their memories when they grow up.  Good Job to the Parents who took their children on their vacation instead of leaving them at home.

Cruising as a Family will make Childhood Memories for Your Children.

Handicapped and Adaptive Travel while Vacationing on the Oasis of the Seas Cruise Ship

I am totally amazed how large Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas really is and what WOW Factor I experienced.  While walking arund the ship I noticed lots of wheel chairs on several of the decks.  Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's Oasis of the Seas has out done their selves with the design and ease of navigating around their ship for all passengers.

Many cruise lines have been updating their cruise ships and spending lots of money to redesign and update their ships.  I was pleasantly pleased to talk with several passengers in wheel chairs and they were very happy with the ability to navigate around the 17 decks with ease.  The elevators and ramps made traveling anywhere on the ship very simple.  Lots of passengers took a few days to really feel comfortable with the location of the cafes, pools, open spaces and entertainment centers.   Once they knew where they were they were able to move about the Cruise Ship with Ease.

I have traveled with people who are in wheel chairs and my friend was very open about her experiences on this ship traveling in a wheel chair.  She stated that they crew and staff were very open and well versed in assisting people who need just a little extra care getting around.  Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and equally.  I truly can state that the Oasis of the Seas lived up to my friends and my expectations of making Adaptive and Handicapped travel an effortless event.

The Cruise Industry has really stepped up to the plate and made all travelers know that traveling can be planned and excuted easily when planning a vacation aboard a ship.

Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Holland America and Princess Cruise Lines are all great cruise lines that are designed and well suited for traveling in a wheel chair or for the Adaptive Traveler that needs just a little extra help.  My hats off to the Cruise Lines in making Travel EASY FOR EVERY ONE.  Happy Travels.

Wow Travel Factor - Oasis of the Seas - Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines

We just returned from a Conference at Sea and I am still amazed about the Wow Factor of the Oasis of the Seas Cruise Ship.  Our conference was for Travel Professionals and Travel Providers for the Travel Industry.  From Cruise Lines, Shore Excursions, Tour Companies (land and air) and Insurance - what a teriffic place to come together and learn many things and new products for our clients, family and friends.

As a Travel Professional I can highly recommend the Oasis of the Seas at a get away for you or your family.  Travel is a hassle for many people, but with the on and off loading, ease of finding the ship locations  and wonderful Staff of the Oasis I commend their efforts on our behalf.

The Oasis Cruise Ship was Huge, but I never felt overwhelmed.  The ship hold 5000+ passengers, but everyone was hidden from our sites until we arrived at the ports of Call. We left Ft. Lauderdale and cruised for one day at sea.  We first port was Nasseau and it was very easy to get around the the port and make our way over to Paradise Island.  The Conference was wonderful - full of new information and training opportunities.  We ended up going to Ice Shows, Beach Parties or just a little quiet time in the library.  We ended up going to St. Thomas and we were hosted by the Frenchman's Reef Mariotts Hotels.  Beautiful Property and a definite prospective place to be searched out by Honeymooners, or families just needing to enjoy some quiet time.  Off to St. Maartens or St Martins (depending on how you want to pronounce it) - What a beautiful place to visit and we found such bargins for goods and services.  St. Martins is a place that I would advise travels to spend your money as they will actually bargin with you and their goods are made of quality materials.  We sailed off for a few more sea days and eventually having the conference and cruise come to a close.  What I would say about the Oasis of the Seas is - REMARKABLE AND AMAZING VACATION EXPERIENCE.
The WOW FACTOR for a vacation or family get away.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at Jeanne Felix Hearts on the Go Travel  http://www.travelatheart.com  Enjoy your day your way.  After all your memories are built by your vacation experiences.   Happy Travels.  Jeanne Felix  http://www.facebook.com/travelagentjeannefelix

Being Connected While Traveling on your Flight - Keep Networking

Taking a flight and want to be connected? What a Wonderful World that we Live in. Blogging and Flying at the same time. High above the US is a perfect place to be inspired to write a Blog Post on being connected with the Social Media World.

I have had a fear of trying to connect and it was going to cost an arm and a leg. I was introduced on the Southwest flight today that there was a miniman charge and you will have the capabiility to be connected to your network.

I signed on and the charge was $5.00 which is a small price to pay to have this connection. I know that people have had always connected, but at a premium price. Don't be afraid to start up that computer and have a hassle free experience. Getting started took a few minutes, but once you familarize yourself with the setup you are on your search browser within 5 minutes.

Being Connected with the Business and Networking World can be priceless. I have received referrals and request for information while I am on a Vacation. Southwest Airlines has earned an extra special star in my book and I love the enthusiasm of the employees and just pick a seat and own it. Fly and being connected it up there in my book. Happy Travels
