Have you ever attended a Parade that has the loyality and love from it's attendees and participants? http://travelatheart.com Truckee 4th of July Parade is a great sample of the Small Town Parade with support and appreciation of its fans. The parade offers a little excape from the every day and puts some all American energy into the downtown area. The route is about 1 mile long and is very popular for people visiting from all over.
What great fun for the participants with their Float Entries all the way to the service clubs and fundraising events. We had representatives from The Relay for Life and the Truckee Humane Society - just to name a couple. One of the Favorites of our Town is the Truckee River Drill Team, which is a group of local guys who perform Drills with Ski's and have the hearts of everyone. They have been preforming for over 31 years.
Next time you have a parade in Town, please help support their efforts as it help to have an audience. Your Town or City Chamber of Commerce is a perfect place to see what is happening in your own neighborhoods. Enjoy life and shake it up a little.
Variety is the spice of life and sharing a Local Parade with your family will bring smiles to your faces as you review all the fun pictures you review later. Take plenty of pictures and share them with everyone. Local Involvement is a good thing.
