Arizona Road Trip - Montezuma Well- National Monument
Everyone needs to plan a Road Trip to Arizona. There are so many National Parks and National Monuments to explore with the entire family. Arizona always offers some amazing opportunities for the Best Road Trip and you will not be disappointed in Montezuma Well.
For more information on this National park check out the National Park website and you can see all the things to do and see throughout Arizona. Don't forget to visit the Grand Canyon while you are in the Grand Canyon State of Arizona. You will see everything from the High Desert to mountain passes. The timberline meets the canyons and create impressive 360 degree views. Time to get out and enjoy Arizona and it national treasures.
For additional information http://www.nps.gov/moca/planyourvisit/exploring-montezuma-well.htm
The water is still very important to the farmers and businesses down stream even today and feeds into the irrigation ditches.
There are lots of hiking trails around the Montezuma's Well and the Park Staff are very helpful in answering your questions. The Park Staff provides information and will lead you down the narrow path. This is a very easy trail to follow but be careful and watch your children. The safety rails are very rustic and you should watch your footing and keep good tract of your kids. Definitely a great educational experience for the entire family.
Every Family should take a couple weeks for vacation during spring or summer to experience the beauty and history that Arizona has to offer. You could spend an entire year in Arizona and never see it all. I look forward to the next visit to Arizona and Vacation there Again real soon. Happy Travels

Montezuma's Well is a part of the Montezuma Castle National Monument. The area is very beautiful and we explored it during the spring and were able to see all the wild flowers in bloom along the trail to Montezuma's Well. When you are exploring this amazing park you will see some cliff dwellings in the side of the mountain that is close by a variety of archaeological sites. The area was home to many groups of people who used the area for safety, food and shelter. The constant flow of water brings over 1.5 million gallons of water to the well every day.

Catalina Island Fun Day of Exploration - Things to Do on Catalina
Have you ever been to Catalina Island. Catalina is a favorite spot for many travelers. We decided to check it out being a native Californian and everyone I know said it was a great island. We boarded the Catalina Express out of Long Beach.
Easy Boarding out of Long Beach. The parking price is $15.00 for a 24 hour period and very convenient to the boarding point. The customer service from Catalina Express was exceptional. The ride was very smooth and took about 70 minutes each direction. Some people do a day trip while others prefer to spend some time at the local hotels. These hotels are quaint and easy to access from the
Catalina Express is the company that we used and we would that the ride, prices and services were fantastic. Contact Catalina Express at the following website for prices and locations where you can pick up the Ferry or Fast Speed Catamaran http://www.catalinaexpress.com/ Personally I can recommend this company based on our fantastic experience.
Check out Catalina Express for schedules and prices. You can upgrade one way to the Commodore Lounge for an additional $15.00 to make the ride home more enjoyable. You will be offered a drink and snack with the smoothest ride.
Here is a picture of the Beach and Walk Way along the marina of Santa Catalina. Winter time was the perfect time to visit as the temperature was 82 degrees in December. Weather is always a bonus to complete a fantastic Day Trip. The mode of Transportation in Catalina is via Golf Cart. The highways are very narrow and perfect for Golf Carts.
The City of Avalon has a Dive Park. We saw affordable vendors near by to assist people with diving needs. It looked so convenient to enter the Dive Park right is a designated area just for
exploring and swimming with the local Fish.
Walking beyond the Casino we found some local vendors that offered dining and drinks right down along the Marina. Very Peaceful and Tranquil this time of year.
The area is where you find the Zipline entrance. People were there to offer expert advise for people seeking to see the island from above. Looked fun and has 5 runs. Prices ranged
$103.00 - $115.00 per person.
There are so many things to do and keep yourself entertained. We got off the ship and found everything within walking distance. We Visited the Casino (which means meeting place) serves as the museum and meeting hall for movies and current events.
What a fun day to walk through the town of Avalon. The pier offers a good place to have a drink and catch a lunch before getting ready to depart on your return cruise back to Long Beach.
We were guests of Santa Catalina Island Company and they had different tours that will take you into the interior. The Guides were very well informed of the history. We were impressed with the tour guides and their knowledge. We took a trip up to the Airport in the sky and Sampled the DC3 cookies.
.
.
The Airport in the Sky was made between two mountain tops and is a easy in and out for the pilot. You must make it up to the airport for a DC 3 cookie. They are really good and worth the trip. The Catalina Conservancy is very important on the island. Check out the Airport in the Sky at the following Website for information. http://www.catalinaconservancy.org/index.php?s=visit&p=airport_in_the_sky
When we returned to Long Beach we saw the Queen Mary and it made for a beautiful ending of a fun day. The Sun was setting as we took the 3:30 pm return trip and were back in Long Beach at Sunset. For more information on the Queen Mary check out their website for hours and prices. There are lots of events that happen on the Queen Mary. http://www.queenmary.com/our-story/Our-Story.php

Which Cruise is the Best Cruise? Whatever Floats Your Boat - Choose by Itinerary and Countries
Which Cruise
is the Best Cruise? Whatever Floats Your Boat - Choose by Itinerary and Countries
TRAVEL TIP: When clients ask me "WHICH CRUISE SHOULD WE BOOK", My answer is the one with the best itinerary. The more stops a cruise ship makes give a person more options to evaluate different Islands or destination and determine which ones they would like to return for a longer or extended stay. That is my story and I am sticking to it.
I have clients always ask which cruise lines or length of time on board makes the best Cruise. Stop right there- this decision is best answered by what countries you desire to see or if you are exploring new destinations for the first time. Personally I encourage lots of stops and less days at sea to be the Best Option. I am finding that when exploring the Mediterranean it gives more opportunity to really enjoy the location when you can see more of what Greece, Turkey or Croatia has to offer.
Happy Travels

Exploring Rome and Excursions
Rome and excursions:
There are so
many things to see and do when visiting Rome.
First you need to know how many days you have to explore this wonderful
city. Rome is the Capital of the World. Some of the things to visit while in Rome are
Roman Forum, St. Peter’s Basilica, Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Museums,
Colosseum, Panatheon, Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. These are some of my personal recommendations
if your stay in Rome is short. You
create wonderful memories of this fantastic Vacation pictures at all these
famous sights. When you get home you
will be glad that you spent the extra time to Visit some Historical Sites that
interest you personally. Happy Travels
and Pick Your Excursions Wisely.
The Vatican – The Home of the Pope requires at
least One Full Day of your time. Truly
worth the time you spend exploring the Home of the Pope and the Smallest Nation
in the World. There are always long
lines to get into St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel. Be prepared and have your travel agent pre
book these tours to make the best use of your time. Go right to the front of the lines with your
tour director
Transfer from Airport to Downtown
Hotels. You can hire a taxi, set up a private
transfer for minimum amount based on 5 traveling together. If there are only two of you traveling I
recommend pre-purchasing a shared transfer and it will run you about $32.00 USD
per person. When you hire a Private
Transfer the tour company provides directions on where to meet at the airport
and will take you directly to your hotel.
After
traveling from the USA, you are pretty tired and getting to your hotel room is
one of the best things to do and get some rest.
Tranfers from Downtown Hotels to the
Cruise Port: Here you can take the trains, but you will be
let off in city center and then need to take a TAXI to the cruise port.
I recommend
private Transfers from a Vendor that your Travel Agent can pre-purchase for you
for approximately $59.00 USD per person. The Cruise Lines want to charge
$96.00 so you can see the savings to you
when you pre book the transfers from somewhere other than the cruise lines.
Boarding Your Ship:
The Cruise Port: The Cruise Ships
Embark and Debark frin the port that is approximately 1 – 1 ½ hours away from Rome depending how
much traffic you run into. Highly
recommend another private transfer to eliminate the Stress of getting to the
Ship on Time. There are strict rules
that the cruise lines want your paperwork filled out before you leave
home. It makes boarding more streamline
for all the passengers. Allow at least
2-4 hours prior to departure to board your floating city for the week.
